IKEJA ELECTION
The
Editor,
We have you to thank for the Ikeja Bar.
If not that you were publishing all those exposes about the election and its
aftermath, there wouldn’t have been any settlement of the dispute.
Editor’s
Note: - Really?

IKEJA ELECTION
The
Editor,
Let me ask you directly how much were
you and your people paid by Ubani to sign the terms of settlement in the
Farounbi V. Ubani case ? It is a big shame that Yoruba people can always be
bought. Will Ibos allow any Yoruba to become their leader in their own state?
Editor’s
Note: -
There’s no pleasing the world! When the parties were in court, people
complained that the Claimant was putting clogs in the wheels of progress of the
Ikeja Bar. When the Claimant settled with willing parties, people (like you)
now complain that he and his fellow progressives have been “settled.” Well for
your information we were not bribed or otherwise compromised to sign the terms
of settlement.

The
Editor,
Thank God the “war” is ended in the
Tiger Branch. But please may I appeal to you particularly to give much more
than 100% to the Chairman so that you will not be accused of causing his fall.
You are a mature individual; prove your critics wrong please. Show maturity,
display understanding and manifest godliness.

Thank you sir, for your advice. But what will the Chairman give me 120%?

The
Editor,
Your cover on the last edition with the
rider-: “Monday Uba-Lana……… New Government in Ikeja Bar. Will it last? is
intriguing. First why was your own picture bigger than that of the Chairman?
second, what is the meaning of Monday Uba-Lana? Third, why the poser “will it
last?”
Editor’s
Note: -
My picture was bigger than the Chairman’s simply because it is right from birth
that the offspring of the giraffe is taller than the offspring of the camel. Monday Uba-Lana means that the Ikeja
Bar is led by two leaders both whom are “twins” sort of because both were born
on the same day, Monday, the same date 27th, the same month, July
and the same year, 1964. “Will it last?” came in because there is still a case
in court challenging the validity of the May 9th 2011 election that which
produced the new government and because of the possibility of personality and
political clash between the No.1 and No. 2 in Ikeja Bar, both being Leos.

The
Editor,
“Femi Falana became a Senior Advocate at
a time when his popularity rating is at the lowest among Ikeja Bar. What a
wrong time to get honoured!
Editor’s
Note: -
I see……. at least with the chairman of the Branch.
SILK
The
Editor,
If only you will apply for the Senior Advocate
of Nigeria award. They have no choice than to give you.
